Construction.
Body parts are manufactured from aluminium, zinc and bronze alloys. Plastic triggers and
316 stainless steel screws all combat corrosion. ø450 model available with handwheel
operation only. Options
include: -
- 316 Part or Full construction.
- Multi-notching to enhance flow
control.
- Coated standard construction.
- Handwheel operation for sizes 150 mm
to 380 mm.
- TELEFLEX remote hand operation on

These valves offer a
simplified construction compared to other in-line IDV's reducing cost, size and weight.
Features include:-
- Double diaphragm for in-line
applications with no leakage to atmosphere.
- Suitable for lighter duty, upto 560
kg/m³.
- Simple design, suitable for
applications requiring infrequent operation.
- Bore sizes from 50 mm to 300 mm.
- Diaphragms selected to suit
application.
- Standard available with thumbscrew
locking for 50 mm to 80 mm bores, giving infinite flow control.
- Trigger locking mechanism on other
sizes.

The
Series C Valve has been specifically designed to allow diaphragm removal without removal
of the valve body from situ, dramatically reducing 'down time' when servicing and allows
the use of different diaphragms for each batch, preventing cross contamination. Other
benefits include: -
- Single diaphragm, reducing spares
costs.
- Internally mounted felt seals
prevent product leakage making the valve suitable for in-line applications.
- Robust construction and diaphragm
clamping make the valve suitable for medium duties upto 1120 kg/m³.

The Series E Iris
Diaphragm Valves have been the work-horses of the Iris powered valves for many years.
Their extremely robust construction and reliable drive elements make them suitable for the
most arduous duties. Standard Features:-

The Series H Valves
have been designed specifically for use with Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC's). This
low cost, compact valve has been fitted to many thousands of IBC's the world over. It's
popularity with operators owes to it's ease of operation, reliability and excellent
regulation of discharge rates. Standard Features: -
- Single diaphragm for dust tight
closure.
- Simple construction specifically
designed for IBC'S, upto 720kg/m³.
- In-situ diaphragm adjustment.

Series KD Valves have
been specifically designed for applications demanding the highest level of hygiene. Aimed
specifically at the food and pharmaceutical markets, the K Valve can be stripped down and
cleaned in moments. Standard Features:-
- Hand, pneumatic or electrical
actuation.
- One piece moulded diaphragm that
extends fully from inlet to outlet, doubling as the valve's gasket.
- Quick release or bolt mounting to
suit requirements.
- The use of plastic moving parts
ensures ease of operation and ensures reduced maintenance.
- Quick dismantling of body parts
without the need for tools (hand operated units only).
- Bore sizes from 150 mm to 250 mm.
