Series 705 UL/FM Butterfly ValveThe Series 705 butterfly valve features a weatherproof actuator housing approved for indoor or outdoor use. It has a ductile iron body and disc with EPDM disc coating. The body is coated with a heat fused polyphenylene sulfide blend to meet UL and FM requirements. For fire protection services, Series 705 valve is listed and approved for 300 PSI (2065 kPa) service.
Series 717 FireLock?Check ValveSeries 717 FireLock?check valve is a CAD-developed design that is hydrodynamically efficient. A totally rubber encapsulated disc on 4 - 12" (100 - 300 mm) sizes provides superior corrosion resistance. This single disc design incorporates a spring assisted feature for non-slamming operation. The 4" (100 mm) and larger sizes are provided with upstream and downstream drains and a welded-in nickel seat design. All sizes of Series 717 can be installed in the vertical or horizontal position to provide leak-free sealing under conditions as low as five feet of head. Each valve is factory tested to 500 PSI (3440 kPa).The 2 1/2 and 3" (65 and 80 mm) sizes are UL/ULC Listed and 4" (100 mm) sizes and larger are UL/ULC Listed and FM Approved for services up to 250 PSI (1725 kPa). Sizes 4 - 8"/100 - 200 mm (except 6 1/2 O.D. size) are VdS approved.
Series 717-R FireLock?Riser Check ValveSeries 717-R FireLock check valve incorporates a CAD-developed design that is hydrodynamically efficient and available in 4 - 8" (100 - 200 mm) sizes. The Series 717-R utilizes a totally rubber encapsulated disc to provide superior corrosion resistance. This single disc design incorporates a spring assisted feature for non-slamming operation. Approved for vertical or horizontal installations, the Series 717-R is designed to accept a riser check kit. The kit consists of a 2" (50 mm) drain valve, 0 - 300 PSI (0 - 2065 kPa) gauges (2), gauge isolation valves (2), pipe nipples and pipe plugs. The Series 717-R does not include the riser check kit unless specified and ordered. A welded-in nickel seat provides extra corrosion protection and leak-free sealing under as low as five (5) feet of head. The basic valve is factory tested and is UL/ULC Listed and FM Approved. The 2" (50 mm) drain valve is UL/ULC Listed and FM Approved for services up to 200 PSI (1370 kPa).
Series 727 FireLock?Ball ValveThe Series 727 FireBall valve is a standard port, end-entry valve ULC/UL/FM rated for 300 PSI (2065 kPa) service in all sizes. Valve body and end cap are painted ductile iron. The ball is polished 316 stainless steel with a stainless steel stem. TFE seats aid in easy operation and provide a corrosion free seat. Streamlined design provides excellent flow characteristics. Series 727 FireBall valve flow performance exceeds UL Specification 1091 and FM Approval Standard 1112. Supervisory switch options include unsupervised (UNS) and supervised open double pole/double throw (SOD).
Series 748 FireLock?/sup> Ball CheckThe Victaulic Series 748 FireLock Ball Check is used in the trim piping of the Series 756 Dry Valve and Series 758 Preaction Valve in order to allow the valve activating mechanism, either Series 753-A Dry Actuator or Series 754-A Accelerator, to monitor and react to the entire sprinkler system air volume. The Series 748 Ball Check is rated to 300 PSI (2065 kPa).
