608 Copper Butterfly ValveVictaulic Series 608 butterfly valves are designed to provide bubble-tight shut-off to 300 PSI (2065 kPa). This grooved end valve is quickly and easily joined to the piping system by utilizing Style 606 couplings from 2 1/2 - 6" (65 - 150 mm) sizes. The valve features a double-seal disc design with a resilient elastomeric coating bonded to the ductile iron disc core. The disc drive hub is integrally cast as part of the disc and can be actuated by a manual lever, gear, pneumatic, electric or hydraulic operators. Dead end service is provided to full working pressure in both directions. Sealing and positive shut-off are accomplished by a integrally molded on the disc. This results in superior sealing performance with low torque requirements.

700 200 PSI Butterfly ValveVictaulic Series 700 butterfly valves are designed for bubble-tight shut-off to 200 PSI (1400 kPa). Two piece stem permits narrow disc design for low pressure drop performance and is self-centering for positive shut-off. Valves are available with EPDM for water service to +230癋 (+110癈) or nitrile for oil services to +180癋 (+82癈) liners. Refer to Liner/Disc Selection for general service recommendations. Series 700 butterfly valves are available in 1 1/2 - 6" (40 - 150 mm) O.D. sizes. The body is fully rubber lined, and the valve housing is cast of durable ductile iron. Standard disc is aluminum bronze (also available in 316 stainless steel), with a variety of handles or gear operators available. A low profile design is a variable where space is a problem. Victaulic recommends the use of Style 07 Zero-Flex couplings with the Series 700 butterfly valve to eliminate joint deflection or valve rotation at the coupling connection to the piping system.

706 300 PSI Large Diameter Butterfly ValveThe Series 706 grooved end butterfly valve offers an easily installed choice to cumbersome, multi-bolt wafer, lug-type or flanged valves. The valves offer excellent flow characteristics with exceptionally low torque operation. The resilient EPDM seat is rated for water services up to +230癋 (+110癈). The offset disc securely retains the resilient seat for bi-directional working pressure to 300 PSI (2065 kPa). The single piece body is cast of durable ductile iron (ASTM A-536), as is the narrow profile disc. The disc rides on stout stainless steel (174 PH) upper and lower stems with all other wetted hardware of Type 304 stainless construction. Series 706 butterfly valves 14 - 24" (350 - 600 mm) are available with a handwheel gear operator. Memory stops and chain wheels are available options, as are electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuators in two or three-way configurations.

Vic-300 butterfly valves feature a narrow profile disc design with a smooth, coated inner body which combine for superior flow characteristics. This combination results in low break-away torque, reducing gear operator and actuator sizing and costs. Standard polyphenylene sulfide blend (PPS) coating accommodates a wide variety of severe services (epoxy coating or full stainless body are available for severe services). The dual-seal disc provides bubble-tight sealing up to 300 PSI (2065 kPa) in both directions without added valve modifications or cost. When using Victaulic butterfly valves with flange adapters consult Victaulic. Available disc coatings include EPDM for water service to +230癋 (+110癈) and nitrile for oil services with the option of fluoroelastomer for corrosives and aromatics.
