Water Hammer Arrester




The traditional cylinder water hammer arrester
makes use of the piston back-and-forth activity
and pressed air chamber principal to absorb water
hammer effect.

The piston and O-ring of traditional cylinder style
water hammer arrester are easy to be worn because
of friction under back-and-forth activity.

The dirty particles will cause the copper wall of
cylinder scraped under piston back-and-forth
activity. Moreover, the pressed air will leak or
in-pipe fluid will flow into air chamber and the
arrester will lose its function.

The connection with thread can be installed at the end or middle of the pipe and easy to construct.

   Z-Tide New Style
Water Hammer Arrester





The Z-Tide arrester makes use of diaphragm to form pressed air chamber and eliminate the water hammer effect.

The air chamber of the diaphragm water Hammer arrester works as a come-and-go activity and no friction result. The in-pipe fluid pressure increase and air chamber volume decrease; the increasing of the air pressure can balance the instant increasing water pressure.

The water hammer effect is a unstable pressure wave and the material of diaphragm is rubber.
Hence, the arrester has a sensitive response to improve the dull response of the traditional
cylinder style.
